Shine a Light

“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”

Beautiful as every day.

@buba vabe: Thanks
I’ll give more hints shortly…
@quint: hint no. 1: it is in fact a cathedral, but two countries away from Brussels.
@dr. arf: merci beaucoup, my esteemed colleague
@adriaan: Xavi is a fast lerner, eh?

PS: no, the photo is not retouched. I just used the “sharpen” filter to make it more presentable on-screen. the light is there as it was in the cathedral.

I am glad you reminded me to come have a look. I appreciate your visits to my place too.
I do like both yesterday and today. The light flooding in makes the pictures for me. I wonder how a softer light would have been. Did you try it.
Your work is remarkable inside these old cathedrals and churches.

Very complicated shot — lots of depth just like the verse. I almost missed the little boy. You have a real eye for this.

Two countries away? South? East? West?

@Moi: Welcome!
@Abe: Thanks. Please explain about soft light? I don’t understand…
@Steve: Thank you for the kind words…
@gmg: Thanks!
@Quint: I messed up slightly It’s either one or two countries away from Brussels. Having been in Luxembourg, Germany looked like two countries away
Anyhow, it’s in Germany… and I’ve almost give it away now.
