ID the Perp #8

A few more for the series. And this one looks serious, does he not. Can anyone provide a positive ID?
EDIT: Adding another photo of a seagull at the same beach in Florida. Look carefully.

I’m not entirely sure, but I believe it’s a young Laughing Gull. He sure did look convincingly non-pacifist 😀
more to come 😉

Hmm indeed. Should ask a bit… get an expert’s opinion.
Posted another photo of a bird at the same beach, hope you’ll enjoy it.

There are huge numbers of Laughing Gulls nesting at a place we regularly go to, in our function as hobby ornithologists (absolute beginners), and the bird above doesn’t look like one to me.
BUT: ever since I heard two experts (of the kind: there-I-was-at-this-unknown-lake-in-Israel-watching-the-bird-everyone-thought-extinct) discussing the possible species of a bird we all saw an noone could identify (because it was standing in the shadow and the color of its legs could not be determined) I know it is a hell of a job to identify birds correctly.
Plus, I really don’t like gulls. 🙂
