A full report from the Cow Ball in Bohinj will follow, but here are a couple of photos to start with.
Some things are bound to change…
…but thankfully, some will always stay the same.

Is the Belgian flag below the two girls just an unfortunate coincidence? 🙂

I hope those 2 pics don’t mean that men are not interested or scared and women have to do everything 🙂

Lovely photos.
Here in Portugal – on the Alto Minho region (Viana do Castelo, for instance) – girls used to wear clothes very similar…

dr. filomena
Hi. I am writing from Melbourne Australia.
I have been doing some work related research about Slovenian real estate, economy, etc. Came across your response to Prieur du Plessis’ blog which brought me to your site.
Beautiful country and I am amazed by how proud Slovenians are of their country. Beautiful pictures.

@P: Sometimes even a cigar is just a cigar…
@Morska: Oh no, these boys will hopefully grow up into men, not metrosexual wusses…
@Quint: Glad you enjoyed the photos! Interesting to hear about the similarity of outfits so far away!
@Crni: 🙂
@Buba Å vabe: Given that this was the 52nd annual cow ball, there’s a indeed a good chance there’ll be another one next year so see you there 🙂 and in fact, I’m sure I’ll see you before that as well!!! 🙂 We’ll organize a cocktail night out (ok beer allowed) at the Skeleton Bar ok?
@Camille: That’s my girl! Keep it positive…
@Abraham: I am so happy to see people from around the world appreciate these pics… thank you for your comment.
@Daniel: Thank you and again, same comment applies as for Abraham.
@Alcessa: Heh heh 🙂 hvala
@Moses: Thank you for the kind words. Trust me, we have every right to be proud of Slovenia. Come on over and you’ll see just what I (and Prieur for that matter) mean 🙂
