Shine a Light

@buba vabe: Thanks 🙂 I’ll give more hints shortly…
@quint: hint no. 1: it is in fact a cathedral, but two countries away from Brussels.
@dr. arf: merci beaucoup, my esteemed colleague 🙂
@adriaan: Xavi is a fast lerner, eh? 🙂

PS: no, the photo is not retouched. I just used the “sharpen” filter to make it more presentable on-screen. the light is there as it was in the cathedral.

I am glad you reminded me to come have a look. I appreciate your visits to my place too.
I do like both yesterday and today. The light flooding in makes the pictures for me. I wonder how a softer light would have been. Did you try it.
Your work is remarkable inside these old cathedrals and churches.

Very complicated shot — lots of depth just like the verse. I almost missed the little boy. You have a real eye for this.

Two countries away? South? East? West?

@Moi: Welcome!
@Abe: Thanks. Please explain about soft light? I don’t understand…
@Steve: Thank you for the kind words…
@gmg: Thanks!
@Quint: I messed up slightly It’s either one or two countries away from Brussels. Having been in Luxembourg, Germany looked like two countries away 🙂 Anyhow, it’s in Germany… and I’ve almost give it away now.
