Luxembourg really is a pretty town and my recent experience on account of carlessness has shown that one can get pretty much anywhere on foot in reasonable time. Forget buses on Sundays unless you check schedules in advance 😉
Ha! You’re right, actually. It’s similar in some other aspects as well. Size-wise for example. And since its University is growing stronger, so is the student population in town. Which along with the influx of young EU institution employees from the “new members” has apparently improved social life considerably. And contrary to my expectations, the sun is shining all the time (knock on wood! I know this won’t last, but still…)
